To establish an account with Alamo Forest Products you will need to fill out and sign a credit application and if tax exempt, fill out the appropriate tax form and mail them to us.
Please list on the credit application, or send us a list of, current trade references with whom you have credit limits approximating the amount of credit you wish to establish with Alamo Forest.
Be sure to indicate on the first page whether your business is a corporation, partnership, or a proprietorship and be sure and sign the second page. We cannot begin our credit investigation without an authorized signature.
Terms of Sale
Our standard terms of sales for mill direct sales are net 10 days ADI for metal products and 1% 10 days for wood products. To earn the 1% cash discount your payment should be post marked no later than 10 days after the invoice date.
If the payment due date to earn the cash discount falls on a weekend or national holiday, the cash discount will be allowed if the payment is postmarked the next business day. If no payment is received the month following invoice date, a finance charge equal to 18% per annum will be applied to all non-current invoices.
Alamo Forest Products is a wholesale distribution company. We are not equipped to serve the general public or the home builder. Our customers must have the credit, equipment and facilities to buy, handle, and store large quantities of materials. We qualify each potential customer with the following criteria:
a) Are they a reseller or manufacturer?
b) Do they have a forklift?
c) Do they have a concentration yard and can take deliveries from a tractor-trailer?
d) Do they have sufficient credit?
